Within the larger Hudson River Region, a small group of wineries on the west side of the river have organized a “,”Shawangunk Wine Trail,“,” named after a nearby mountain range. The Shawangunk Wine Trail publishes a special brochure and hosts special events during the year. On the East side of the river, the Dutchess Wine Trail welcomes visitors as well.
